I found this gorgeous necklace on Idle Hands Designs Etsy shop.
It’s very pretty, but alittle out of my price range at the moment.
Maybe I can get it for christmas, if I start hinting about it now ;D

I rarely post private photos of myself, but this photo sort of sums up what I’ve been doing for the past few months. It’s always difficult to find the perfect balance in life, but then again I don’t think the perfect balance exists.
During the past few months, I’ve been working, neglecting my own business & spending alot of time with my dear friends.
Friends & family are very important to me, I love my closest friends, the people I can be myself with, the ones that love me no matter how crazy I am at times.
They let me babble nonstop without telling me to shut up, they make me smile & laugh, they let me refer to myself in the third person (which I seem to do quite alot =P). Thank you my lovely friends for being in my life, you know who you are ;D I love you!

Now I just need to find that balance so I stop neglecting my business, but still have time to laugh, have fun & be with the people I love =)
Step 1 – start sewing on a regular basis again (which I’ve also been neglecting while I’ve been having fun)

I’m not doing a very good job at keeping my blog updated this year, am I.
Well the last month has been very busy, I’ve been working fulltime & it’s really hot at the moment, so I have no energy to do anything after a long day at work.
I also turned 30 =) had a little party with friends, got lots of nice pressies & had alot of fun. =D
About a week or so after my birthday, My Sweetie surprised me with my lovely new mobile phone. =D I’ve been talking about buying this phone since I heard about it & so far I have no complaints. It’s small & red & pretty, which is of course what it most important

I recently went though my yarn stash & decided I need to use some of it up.
I had quite alot of baby cotton, so I figured I’d make a new ripple blanket.
As the yarn was called baby & the colours all feel abit baby like, I decide to make a smaller ripple, I haven’t decided yet if I’ll give it away or keep it for my future. Only time will tell, but atleast I’m using up the yarn & it’s so relaxing to crochet ripples. =D

Pärlgrossisten’s Wedding Special.

The red dress is complete & has been delivered to my lovely friend Erica. She is very happy with her dress, as am I =D We were both doing a happy dance, I’m always nervous before I drop of a finished dress incase something is wrong & I have to fix it, luckily I didn’t have to this time. =)

This dress is for my lovely friend Erica, she’s going to be a bridesmaid & she asked me to make a 50’s style dress for her =)
I just have abit of hand sewing left to do & then I’ll start making a little clutch to match. More photos to come later, I had so much fun making this dress, especially the underskirt, even if hand gathering tulle is boring. =) But I’ll be doing it again soon, I remembered that I don’t have a underskirt for my own 50’s dress that I made a long time ago.

This is a good way to start the morning, meters & meters of tulle waiting to be cut for an underskirt. Time to wake up my sewing machine, woohoo! =D

I’ve started on the red 50’s dress for my lovely friend Erica, all parts are cut out & waiting to be sewn together. Today I put the lining together, which is one of the more boring parts. =) I’m looking forward to making the tulle underskirt & I’m feeling inspired, lots of ideas in my head that need to be made, but first I must finish the Alice costumes. =D
